Day 1: Delhi Arrival
As you arrive at Delhi airport, you will be welcomed by our agent who will then transfer you to the hotel. Have a short nap and move to explore the capital. You will visit the historical monuments, government buildings and spiritual centers of the city. Start from the famous minaret, Qutub Minar, followed by Humayun’s Tomb, Jama Masjid, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Red Fort, India gate and finally the evening aarti at Laxmi Narayan Temple. You will have a day full of excitements as you unfold the history behind the monuments. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Delhi – Mandawa (By road 280 km/ 06 hrs)
Next morning drive to Mandawa after breakfast. On reaching Mandawa, you will be transferred to the hotel by our agent. The city was founded by Thakur Nawal Singh in 1755. Visit the beautifully painted Havelis. The havelis have fine fresco work and are decorated extraordinarily. Mandawa castle is one of the finest castles of Rajasthan. It is turned into a five star hotel with museum inside. The museum showcases the collection of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820, ancient coins, numismatic collection and many other interesting items. The famous havelis of Mandawa are the Bindisar Newatia Haweli, Chokhani Haweli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haweli and the Saraf Haweli. Over night stay in your hotel.
Day 3: Mandawa – Bikaner (By road 164 km/ 04 hrs)
After breakfast proceed for Bikaner. Bikaner was founded by Rao Bikaji in 1488. Before the discovery, it was a trade center for caravans from Africa and West Asia. The city has high boundaries of walls all around it which can be entered through 5 gates built on the boundaries. Visit Junagarh Fort built in the 16th century which houses old palaces, temples and mosque. It was founded by Raja Rai Singh. The other attractions of the city are Lallgarh Palace, Deshnoke temple, Bhanda Sagar Jain, and The Camel’s Breeding Farm. Return to your den and relax overnight.
Day 4: Bikaner – Jaisalmer (By road 333 km/ 06 hrs)
The next is scheduled for the next destination – Jaisalmer. Start your road journey after breakfast. On arrival, our representative will transfer you to hotel. Have some rest before you visit Rishabdevji Temple and the Sambhavnathji Temple in the evening. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Jaisalmer
After breakfast proceed for sight seeing of Jaisalmer. Start with the biggest fort of the city, Jaisalmer Fort built in the 12th century. It is also called Sonar Quila or the Golden fort, as it merges with the desert ambience. There is a Jain temple, situated inside the fort which bears testimony to Rajasthan unique artistry. Visit the well maintained havelis and mansions built by the rich merchants of Jaisalmer. The havelis like the Patwon-ki-Haveli and Salim-Singh-ki-Haveli are remarkable for their peacock decorations and the works in cuttings on the outside walls. In the afternoon, visit the Khuri Sand Dunes and the typical Rajasthani Desert Village. Relax on the Camel’s back as you ride on one viewing the bright golden desert. The other attractions of the city are Garisar lake, Manek chowk and bada baugh. Return to the hotel and stay overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 6: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (By road 385 km/ 06 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur. On arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel by our agent. Visit the giant Mehrangarh Fort which is situated on a low sandstone hill. Within the fort, are the Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Have a close look at the belongings encased in the mahal. You can also visit Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant singh II in 1899. Relax at Umaid Public gardens in the evening. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 7: Jodhpur – Ranakpur (By road 180 km/ 4 hrs)
As you wake up in the morning, have a healthy breakfast and move to the next destination scheduled for you - Ranakpur. Reach your hotel accompanied by our agent and have a short nap. Freshen up and leave for a round of the place. Visit the world famous Ranakpur Jain Temples like Chaumukha Temple, or Four-Faced Temple, dedicated to Adinath, the first tirthankar (‘Jain Teacher’). It was built in 1439, superbly crafted. It has 29 halls supported by 14 differently designed pillars. The other attractions are the Sun Temple and Amba Mata Temple. End your day with a finger licking cuisine in dinner going back to the hotel and sleep with an excitement for the next day. There is lot more to explore in the state.
Day 8: Ranakpur – Udaipur (By road 90 km / 02 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Udaipur. As you reach there, our agent will transfer you to the hotel.. The city was built in 1559 AD by Maharaja Udai Singh. Visit the Jagdish Temple, Sahelion Ki Bari and have a soothing evening at Pichola Lake enjoying the red sunset. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 9: Udaipur
Next morning have breakfast and leave to explore the City of Lakes, Udaipur. The finest cultural and architectural example is here in Udaipur, the Lake Palace. Its very glance will delight your soul. Then the City Palace, the large furnished rooms, mirrored walls, its ivory and attracting doors gives a new definition to beauty. It is marvelous. It also has a peacock courtyard. In the evening, after watching sunset from the Monsoon Palace, go for some shopping in the city which is famous for wooden items like wall hangings, toy and printed textiles.
Day 10: Udaipur – Chittorgarh (By road 122 km / 03 hrs)
After breakfast proceed to Chittorgarh. It is a city famous for Forts and Palaces. The Chittorgarh Fort is a massive structure built by the Maurya rulers in 7th century AD. It is situated on a 180m high hill, sprawling over 700 acres. Visit the Vijay Stambh (Victory Tower), Kirti Stambh (Tower of Fame), Rana Kumbha’s Palace, , Padmini’s Palace, Meerabai Temple , Government Museum, , Kalika Mata Temple, Kumbha Shyam Temple and Jaimal and Patta Palaces. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Chittorgarh – Bundi (By road 170 km/ 04 hrs)
Have your breakfast and leave for Bundi. You will be welcomed by our agent, who will take you to the hotel. In the afternoon, get ready for exploring the small but beautiful place. Visit Sukh Mahal, Taragarh Fort, Phool Sagar palace and famous Chitrasala of Bundi. You can also enjoy the evening at Jaisagar Lake, and Nawal sagar. Late night, go back to your hotel and relax on the comfortable bed after dinner.
Day 12: Bundi – Pushkar (By road 161 km/ 02 hrs)
Wake up early in the morning, take your breakfast and you will go to visit the Brahma Temple, the only temple of Lord Brahma in the Country. Lord Brahma is believed to be the creator of the Earth according to the Hindu mythology. Then you will go enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Pushkar ghats. Pushkar is a place for people who connect well with the village culture. You can also play adventurous camel sports in Pushkar. Finally you will return to the Hotel for a much required sleep.
Day 13: Pushkar – Jaipur (By road 132 km/ 03 hrs)
After breakfast, take a road trip to Jaipur. Enroute visit the famous Khwaja Ji ki Dargah at Ajmer. On arrival, you will be taken to the pre booked hotel by our agent. Relax and freshen-up before you set forth to explore the pink city. Visit Nahargarh, Jaigarh , the very famous Birla Temple. Return to your hotel, have a Rajasthani cuisine in dinner and sleep.
Day 14: Jaipur
Get up in the morning, have your breakfast and leave for your journey of exploring the rock palaces of Jaipur. Amber Fort famous for its elephants and elephants ride will tingle that child in you as you take a ride so high on an elephant’s back. Then the great Hawa Mahal, a building of hundreds of windows, centered in the city. There are other amusing places like Jantar Mantar, City Palace, Jai Garh, Amer Garh which will delight you. If you are a shopoholic, Jaipur’s Johri bazaar will be your next stop. The kundan-meena accessories, the traditional rajasthani clothes and the Jaipuri Razai can find a place in your wardrobe. Have Dinner at Chokhi Dhaani, a place where you can enjoy delicious rajasthani cuisine with the famous folk dance and a suitable village atmosphere. You will return back to the hotel and have a good sleep after the tummy filling dinner.
Day 15: Jaipur – Ranthambore (By road 180 km/ 04 hrs)
Waving a goodbye to Jaipur, you will move towards Ranthambore the next morning after having your breakfast. You will visit the monumental marvels of the Mughals of 17th century in Fatehpur Sikri, on your way to Ranthambore. Tired of traveling the whole day, you will reach your hotel and as you dwell on your comfortable bed you go into deep slumber.
Day 16: Ranthambore
It is time to explore the wildlife of Ranthambore. The world famous Ranthambore National Park is situated in the Sawai Madhopur district, sprawling over 1334kms. It has a variety of wild animals, birds and also includes flora and fauna. If you are a nature lover, you will have a great time watching variety of birds in the conservatory. You will find Tigers, leopard and other seasonal birds in the national park. Take a canter ride in the lush green jungle enjoying the movements of the rarely seen wild creatures. You will have your dinner at the hotel and have a sleep.
Day 17: Ranthambore – Agra via Fatehpur Sikri (By road 280 km/ 06 hrs )
After break move towards Agra. Here is a chance to explore the massive monuments, the popular arts and crafts, and majestic buildings of Agra. Visit one of the seven wonder of the world – Taj Mahal, a mausoleum built by the then ruler Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is a symbol of eternal love. You can also visit the famous Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar in 1566. The other attractions of the City of Love are Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb, Mahtab Bagh. Return to your hotel and relax overnight.
Day 18: Agra – Delhi (By road 180 km/ 04 hrs)
The tour comes to an end as your pack up for your departure to Delhi. Leave for the airport after breakfast. You will be left with memories of love, adventure with some shades of Indian culture and tradition.
